  • Garage door refuses to open or close through remote control:

The garage door remote fails to work due to some reasons. If the remote has enough batteries but you are not able to open the garage door using a remote, it could be a problem for the garage door opener. Garage door remotes are battery operated; chances are there your batteries need to be replaced. They work with wireless technology so, the problem might be related to the range. Test the performance of the remote by pressing it as you get closer to the garage door sensors. Make sure that the antenna should be pointed to each other and not facing downward.
